FedEx is making several rate adjustments that will go into effect on February 10, 2025.
Domestic Express and Ground Fuel Surcharge percentages will increase. The Fuel Surcharge will increase by 1% for Domestic Express and 1.75% for Ground and Home Delivery.
The standard Ground Economy Delivery Area Surcharge (DAS) will increase from $4.00 to $6.20. Extended DAS will increase from $5.35 to $8.30. This is a 55% increase and in line with the recent increases to UPS SurePost DAS.
Notably, these increases come on the heels of FedEx’s 5.9% GRI, which went into effect on January 6, 2025.
