North Carolina Obsessions: BBQ, College Basketball, and Amazon

Obsessions run deep in North Carolina, from March Madness on Tobacco Road to hot debates between Eastern and Western NC barbeque. But, in a recent survey conducted by TransImpact, a new obsession was revealed: Amazon. The supply chain optimization company wanted to know which state was the ultimate in Amazon obsession. Turns out, it’s the company’s home state of North Carolina.

WCNC in Charlotte NC quickly reported on the survey, touting that once again, “we’re Number One!” In an article from Consumer Affairs, they noted the upcoming holiday season is sure to be tested by the spike in package deliveries. We can only assume the Old North State’s obsession will keep that spike going.
