Peak shipping season is coming fast—and FedEx has already announced its annual Demand (Peak) Surcharges for 2025. These surcharges will be in effect from September 29, 2025, through January 18, 2026, and while FedEx hasn’t introduced new fees, many rates are increasing compared to last year.
For high-volume residential shippers, especially those using Ground Economy and Home Delivery, these changes could significantly impact costs. Even non-seasonal shippers are seeing higher charges on Additional Handling, Oversize, and Unauthorized packages.
