Effective December 27, 2022, UPS is increasing SurePost rates by an average of 6.9% (in line with its previous GRI announcement for Domestic Services).
Noteworthy is an increase to its Non-Machineable Charge ($4.20 per package). This charge is similar to the Additional Handling Surcharge but is only applicable to SurePost packages.
Effective March 26, 2023, three new surcharges will take effect. These include Non-Standard Cube Charge, Non-Standard Extra Length Charge, and Non-Standard Length Charge.
