Entrepreneur magazine has named Transportation Impact of Emerald Isle to its Entrepreneur 360 List. It is the second consecutive year the company has earned a place on the list.
For each of the past five years, Entrepreneur magazine has conducted a nationwide search to find the most entrepreneurial firms in the United States, identifying 360 small companies that are mastering the art and science of growing a business. The companies are evaluated on 50-plus data points organized into five pillars: revenue and customers, management efficiency, innovation, financial evaluation and business valuation.
“Our annual evaluation of vetted data offers a 360-degree analysis of top privately held companies across a multitude of industries,” explains Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine. “The businesses that make the list have pushed boundaries with their innovative ideas, fostered strong company cultures, impacted their communities for the better, and increased their brand awareness.”
On the 2019 Entrepreneur 360 list Transportation Impact has leaped from last year’s ranking of #187 to #31.
Founded in 2008 by Travis Burt and Keith Byrd, Transportation Impact has built its reputation as a company that can identify supply chain savings that its competitors cannot. TI helps clients who annually spend a net minimum of $200,000 or more on FedEx and/or UPS parcel shipping services or at least $500,000 on less-than-truckload and truckload reduce those costs. The company has grown from 0 to 80 employees and over 1000 customers. Currently TI manages over a billion dollars in logistics spend and has helped its customers save more than $550 million.
