Hi, I’m Brian Byrd, Executive Vice President of Operations at TransImpact.

About Me

As Executive Vice President of Operations I am deeply involved in developing innovative technological solutions that reduce our customers’ costs and inefficiencies and enable them to make faster, smarter decisions as they optimize their supply chain network.

My colleagues’ passion to problem-solve and generate value for our customers continually inspires me, and alongside them I am committed to relentlessly creating both tangible and intangible value for our customers.

I joined TransImpact as a Business Analyst in the Operations Department in late 2012, and subsequently held leadership roles in Parcel Audit and Parcel Negotiation before being named VP of Operations in October 2019. In November 2020 I was named EVP of Operations.

I earned a BSBA from UNC–Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School, and gained expertise in finance as an equity trader at Schonfield Securities. Raised in Emerald Isle, NC, I started surfing at age 10, and at 14 won the East Coast Surfing Championships (VA Beach) in the Menehune Longboard division. My greatest joy is my wife, Kadie, and our two daughters, Arabella and Juliet.
